New Slide Key
Please change slides key V5 every time when end user complain about slide key jamming. If device include V5 slide key. Remove screws and use right screw driving force. Follow directly Service manual dis-assembly instructions. In this case needed steps are 1 to 7. If slide key problems exist with V5 check also screws under display.

Protective Tape for Blank Display
Not any protective tapes in Touch panel area. This is touch phone and not allowed to use any protective tapes or foils. Nokia approved tape is 9403844. This tape purpose is protecting touch area only during production and shipping. End user can use this tape but it is not recommended. This tape includes needed openings in upper and lower part of tape. Production uses only this tape at the moment.

Audio Problem
This technical bulletin gives exact procedure for repairing next symptoms:

There has been noticed that incoming voice is not even. Sometimes voice level is high and sometimes low. This audio problem seems to disappear by mechanical stress (pressing front side of phone). Please change earpiece every time when end user complain of poor incoming audio quality. Use only NXP (Petra) earpiece component. Nokia code for this NXP is 5140002.
