Nokia Authorized Service Vendors, ASV reporting a VID (Verification ID) when making electronic claims and not using Phoenix service software need to install the package. The installation package supplies the software needed on the local PC to interface with updated NOL warranty check and the various Nokia products. Phoenix users must install Multi Protocol Phoenix Service Software version 2008.44.5.36625 to enable using the updated NOL warranty and identification check feature. It is not necessary to install the Nokia device identification software package.
After the installation
Reboot the computer.
Tips
If the software package does not work correctly then:
• Uninstall the Warranty and Identification Check software
• Uninstall Nokia Flash Cable driver installation
• Install the Warranty and Identification Check software
